|James Duggan, M.B.A., J.D.
Mr. Duggan focuses his practice on business and corporate planning and estate planning, primarily as it relates to closely-held business interests, high net worth families and family offices. His experience includes international tax, business and estate planning.
Mr. Duggan earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Marketing Degree from the College of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Magna Cum Laude), a Masters in Business Administration Degree in Finance from the DePaul University Graduate School of Business in Chicago, Illinois (Summa Cum Laude), and a Juris Doctorate Degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois (Law Review).
Mr. Duggan’s professional activities include the Chicago Bar Association, where he actively serves on the Business and Corporate Law Committee and Estate Planning Committee, as well as the Illinois State Bar Association, where he actively serves as Council on the Business and Financial Planning Committee. He is also one of the founders of the Asset Protection Society. Mr. Duggan is a nationally prominent speaker and frequent lecturer at international business and tax planning conferences and family office conferences.
