Home Thanksgiving Newsletter: Useful Reading for Advisors On This Holiday Weekend

By: Roccy DeFrancesco, JD, CWPP™, CAPP™, CMP™

Since most of us will be taking a good portion of this week off, I figured I’d create a brief newsletter on miscellaneous items. Sort of a potpourri of interesting items from past newsletters that I’ve sent out to those who receive  newsletters through my educational institute (The Wealth Preservation Institute).  Since the APS is relatively new and since I only write newsletters for the APS every three to four weeks, I imagine many of you who receive this will not have had a chance to read most of the newsletters listed below.

I figured many advisors, while they enjoy being with the family over the holiday weekend, may want or need something to keep their minds occupied and one way to do that is to learn new topics that will help you provide better advice and grow your business (which is what I try to do with my CWPP™, CAPP™, and MMB™ course and my newsletters).  The following newsletters cover “Global” asset protection topics that range from hard core asset protection, to tax planning, to protecting money from downturns in the stock market and more.

I’m going to group them by topics so you can go to the topic(s) that interest you most. I’ve colored ones I think are important from a compliance/E&O avoidance point of view RED and some of the ones I think are ways you can make more money I’ve colored GREEN.

I also wanted to remind you that there will be a Free Webinar on how to market to the affluent using the C.A.L.M. Plan which will be held on November 29th at 3:00 pm est. To sign up, e-mail Jason@thewpi.org.
