What does it mean to be blacklisted?

It’s unfortunate that we at the Asset Protection Society need to have a black status.

There are only a handful of advisors who will receive a black status, but we felt it was important for those looking for advisors to be informed as to the real status of advisors who have been involved with the APS.

The black status signifies that an advisor who has signed up for or completed the CWPP, CAPP, or MMB course(s) has violated the Ethics Code of the Wealth Preservation Institute.

As such, they have had their certification revoked.

While we will not disclose the ethics violations of past certified advisors, we did want to put everyone on notice that a violation has occurred.
